I Did it I Did it I f**ken finally did it
Graduated The Chicago Fire Academy. Now I can ditch the freaken Ambulance I've been stuck on and work the Engine as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic. Still stuck doing some EMS runs but no longer getting my teeth kicked in wrestling heroin addicts and crack heads lol. God I'm so beat down it'll prob take me a month to recover

awesome, one of my buddies is a firefighter/paramedic and it seems to be one of the most rewarding careers

hats off to you and the CFD.........i retired with 25 years in fire service......and by the way....i enjoyed my time as a medic....get to see some bootie even if they are dead
