Insomnia! help me out...
I haven't been able to get a good night sleep in awhile (4-6 mo). It's either I can't fall asleep - toss and turn, or I don't want to go sleep until its around
4am. When I do fall asleep, it's very "lite", not going to my deep cycle.
I got new pillows, I have a great mattress. I don't have much stress at work or home. I have a clean diet...
Anyway, I catch myself falling asleep in my office in the middle of the day. The worst is on my way back home during rush hour. I almost wrecked a few times.
Is there anything I can take OTC to help me fall asleep FAST. I don't want to go to a doc... don't want blood tests.
I work out 4-5 days a week and just recently started a cycle. I don't think I'm over-training. Anyone else have the same issue with sleep?

Ive got a problem with sleep, not caused by gear tho, it's just that sometimes I will sleep in and then be wired all day and night. I asked my doctor is there is anything I can take and he told me in Canada there isn't really any perscription he could give me but recommended gravol. Ive been taking nytol and it makes me drowsy and usually lets me get to sleep.

Passion Flower Tea. Not the capsules, by the raw herb off ebay, blend it down, dose it, boil it, drink it. You'll have no problem sleeping at all.
Has a very exotic taste to it too.

i can't believe Doctors in Canada don't know about this. Believe me. melatonin works.

What do you do before going to sleep? They say watching tv or being on the PC makes it harder for you to fall asleep after, and if you workout late in the evening sometimes your body takes a while to get into a relaxed mode!
I just have to do work on the PC before sleeping and that makes it so hard for me to sleep at night, i dont get any more than 3-4hours of sleep a night during week days which is stressful, and then i end up sleeping in like crazy on weekends.

I am calling this Sleep Health Center place, and see if i can schedule an appointment.
I am hoping that I have my sleep cycle tested. I am also hoping that my health insurance is going to cover it haha..
but anyways, I've been told lately I"m a loud snorer, and I also dont feel like i get a good night sleep, so I wonder if I have sleep apnea.
If Insurance pays for most of it, I'm gonna get tested. Once you know than you know work from there.

I take 2 Benedryl a couple ight a weeks when can't sleep. It helps you get to sleep and its a pretty deep sleep for me. You might want to give it a try.

You could very well have sleep apneia (sp?). It's worth getting checked out in my opinion.

I though that wasn't normal.
Seems like something is blocking my airway pass...maybe my wife?

If I'm not getting enough sleep, does it accumulate over time? I mean what if I try sleep all day on my day off (just get up to eat every 3 hrs ) and try to catch up...or no?
Funny thing is when I'm off, I don't get as sleepy as when @ work, and my job is fairly exciting too
anyway, I got some tea, we'll try this again.

Melatonin bro... It really works... You can get it at shoppers drug mart here in canada where they keep the vitamins... It is in a blue box made by VIVITAS. It comes in one and three mg pills and also in Liquid fourm with an eyedropper. i can take a pic of my bottle if you want...
But trust me, it works better than anything out there as far as over the counter supplements go... If you have any questions, PM me.

Try counting sheep. I don't think sleep aids should be used unless you have a proven sleep problem diagnosed by a doctor. Also, how is your schedule? Are you going to bed and getting up at the same time everyday? I had sleep problems until I started getting up as early as possible and now I fall asleep on schedule.

i have slept 3 hours in 4 days ... yay The falling asleep at work or behind the wheel happens. You don't relaly fall asleep u just doze for a minute or 2 :P I feel ya on it. Nothing works for me except for pot back in high school...but i'm steering away from that.

try a 300mg seraquil from a friend and you will be out for a few days. They are the best little pill that doctors have ever made. I love them so much.

Really you could buy a 300mg pill and cut it into 15mg pieces and you could get a few good nights sleep, then your body might adjust to it. Just make sure you get a hole 8-10 hrs of sleep other wise you feel like you ate a ton of xanax the night before.
