    Have steroids changed your voice?

    I used to have an OK singing voice. After a few cycles I find I can't hit the same notes I used to years ago. You guys think this could be attributed to roid use?

    I didn't know men sang.

    I think roids would have something to do with it. It has been know to deepen womens voices, so I would think it could do the same thing to men. Kind of like going through puberty again, hence the sex drive, hair growth, ect.

    once ur voice has deepened it shouldn't go deeper cuz of steroids. look at Ronnie, he sounds like a lil bitch.

    My voice has gotten deeper, but maybe it would have naturally anyway since I am young. I have always been able to sing since I was young

    i think mine has gotten deeper, but it was alreadydeep before, who can say for sure it wouldnt have happened naturaly with just getting older?

    My voice has gotten deeper. That is how my brother could tell I was on my first cycle. He called me on the phone and he said I sounded like a different person. He said oh shit what happened to your voice. Why is it so much deeper? You got bigger to! MOM CARLOS IS TAKING STEROIDS!

    I believe it gets deeper with an increase in Neck size, or bloat.

    everyone always tell me I gotta deep ass voice...I think if I do ANVAR test or deca it could only get deeper. yo carlosE is that u and your Bro in the pic you should beat his ass for telling your parents on you 4 doing gear if my lil bro told on me I would f-him up big time

    It shouldn't deepen due to steroid use... It probably deepend due to age, misuse and lack of practise.

    The vocal chords take a beating in what'd we'd call normal day-to-day activity.

    Deepening on cycle may be correlated to the extra stress you put on your chords while on: grunting etc.

    Grunting/shouting etc. results in a fraying of the chords..which produces a a kind of hoarsening effect.

    Also as we age the chords get less elastic.

    Practise can help you regain some (if not all) of your lost range. This'd depend however on how much damage you've submitted your chords to..and whether or not polyps have developed on them.
