Pepper Spray

Anyone ever been pepper sprayed??
When we get trained we have to get sprayed so we know what it feels like and yeah it's awful..

Tonight I sprayed this guy w/ the Gel spray (it doesn't come off) and I actually felt bad for him...

So lets hear your experiences....

I have been pepper sprayed, cs gassed and I have also eaten a ham sanwich with pepper spray in it for a bet. And I been tasered too. The pepper to the face was the worst as it took an age to go away, eating it was not a good idea either.

beasty..... you a freaking nut... i have spent time in the cs chamber and that sucks ass, but have never been sprayed with the pepper spray

Never been sprayed with gel b4 but I have been sprayed and chambered a few times. it does suck but for me not that bad. never ate it though. that is some ill stuff there. lmao. !!!muy caliente!!!

CS chambered, pepper spray and pepper foam which would be like the gel.

Never tasered. All for training, I tell you if a cop ever threatens me with either spray or a dog, ill treat it like a gun.

whats the worst part of the spray, you would think its when you first get sprayed, but its not its the hours latter when you think its gone and you take a hot shower, holly shit it all comes back and hurts worse.

I was watching a riot a few years ago and the riot police started shooting tons of pepper gas cartridges into the crowd, one landed by me and nearly knocked me out. Eyes burned like none other and my lungs hurt really bad.

A friend of mine who is a police offer said he was sprayed during the day for training and later that night he took a shower and it reactivated, anyone heard of something like this?

After about the 3rd time in the cs chamber it was a joke and me and my buddy were in there lau***ng at the new guys. I've been sprayed with military strength OC spray which is just olioresin capsicum thats diluted pretty low and that was the worst feeling ever.

I was sprayed once in Colorado. The cop also ran me over with his car. He was a cowboy and messed with the wrong guy. He is under investigation and his department is in a civil rights suit. He lied in front of the judge and when my attorneys requested the video tape it was ruined. One day out of 365 the camera didnt work. Almost as good as saying he messed up. There are some good cops and some bad ones. Oh well. By the way it hurt. It didnt hurt as bad as him losing his job does though.

I been maced... stupid girl in a public street late night (club street) got scared cus i was big and turned around and maced me .. i was like 5 feet behind her too ! WTF... funny thing is , i grabbed her arm to stop spraying me (she kept doing it) and left a bruise and the cops thought i had assaulted her. Lucky for me she admitted to being a stupid ass. But being in texas, when i (hispanic) tried to get the cops to press assault charges on her (white woman) , I got a "that will teach you to walk like that at night"... wtf!

anyway... hurts... not so bad that i couldn't continue foward if i needed too.

I quite agree with the fact that pepper spray is not that effective when dealing with a determined opponent. It hurts but If you are really pissed it is not going to stop you. The police in the UK act like it is a .44 magnum and will stop a bear!! A Taser would be a much better option or failing that a .44 magnum!

It's fuking stupid to pepper spray or taze someone to just do it. You don't shoot someone to see what it feels like

You can actually die from pepper spray (very remote chance but why risk it?) It bogels the mind that in this day and age with lawsuits that they are still doing shlt like this and don't even get me started on dodge ball in school, wtf? the goal is to hit little kids in the head with a hard ball at close range while everyone watches. My cousin is an army medic and they blow a goats leg off to teach them about wounds, wtf? how is this shlt still allowed? verified his story too with other people that served as medics.

I get what you mean but its all about building an immunity to certain things to strengthen yourself physically but more importantly mentally. Same reason why the military will not feed you for days. They just want you to be put into situations that might arise in combat so your body doesn't go through shock and distress. The likelihood of spray or a tazer killing someone is small which is why they do that instead of shooting people to train them.

Ive been sprayed and in the CS chamber .
The spray really did'nt hurt..it was just really hot on my neck and I could'nt see crap from the tearing.
I never used it as a cop because I had no faith in it,besides I don't want to get that crap all over my arms and uniform when I choked em out.

Alot of the street guys gave me respect for choking them out rather than spraying them.Weird but true.
