Did anybody else love this f@ckin movie as much I do?? These guys looked like they were dieting just as hard as they were lifting. You know they had to have a little bit of attitude on that set with all the dieting and gear those boys were using.

i was about to say... i am a HUGE film buff and normally i'm all about plot, character developement...etc ...etc
but this movie gave just enough so you had an idea about them all. But the cimematography was awesome...and the directing was unbelieveable... just the lighting of the sky and the landscape and the people... just everything...can't explain... best directed movie i have seen in a long time.
I know Frank miller was just a co-director but it had his style all over it. But I guess i'll be keeping an eye out for Zach snyder int he future.

Just seen it, awesome film, and you can definitely feel Frank Millars presence in it. Not on par with Braveheart or Gladiator but a good meathead film none the less. The acting was actually pretty good and there were more six packs than a australian bbq. Some of the guys looked jacked!

Oh without a doubt. I don't want to take anything away from 300 cause it was an amazing film, visually and in every other way but Braveheart and Gladiator just had better battle scenes, more tragedy (i felt you feel for the characters more in Brave and Glad) and overall better story. What I do like about 300 though is that its easily and by a mile the best "epic" film since those two were released.
