BTW - good luck - the memories are forever! Get some e-mails so you can keep in touch with the other guys - but don't wait until graduation to get contact info... cause after graduation people fly like a fart in the wind! At least that was how it was in San Diego

Funny story... Xmas time came all parents sent cakes and cookies...instructors let each recruit eat 2 cookies...later that night patrol found him and another guy hiding in the dumpster shoving thier faces at 2am.

They woke everyone up early...went out and bought 10 gallons of milk.

And all teh chocolate junk food you can imagine and made them eat and drink it all while running around in circles and dooing pushups and situps...everytime they puked they made them do more exercises and eat more food....they got sick! obviously.

I found that to be the funniest thing I ever heard.

I'm lucky, I didn't start paying for mine until after I hit the fleet and noticed I was getting paid more than the other Lance Corporals. I went to admin and they said I wasn't paying out for the GI Bill and they were - I told them it was a mistake and they enrolled me. SHeeeit... 1,000 or so for over 30,000 in TA... sign me up!
