me and a friend accidentaly riped off an overseas company. oops

few months ago my friend ordered some goods for me from an overseas company. the first package was most likley confiscated...so he inquired about reshippment and they sure did reship. they did not even inquire about a customs notice ( i never got one ) so again we waited for the second package...3 months passed and nada...so my friend asked about a refund..and sure enough they gave him a refund ....thing is...3 days after he got the refund the package arived .heh. yes 3+ months overdue....so i dont wanna be the bad guy and rip these guys off....but my friend is the one who paid and got the refund. and he says forget about em. what should i do?

i had a similar thing with a penguin mascot costume, which i purchased over the internet for $900 total with instant shipping etc. damn thing never arrived for when i needed it for, and the card i paid with hadnt been charged, so i rang and asked them not to send it, they said they already had, but would track it, retrieve it and not charge us anything. cool as.

then, about 8 weeks later, it arrived lol. they have never been in contact, and this was well over a year ago.

Happened with me before. Expected something in the mail after a week, three weeks later I let the company know I hadnt received it. They reshipped and within a week I had BOTH arrive. I kept both. I mean ya on one hand its not right, but the company had already logged it as a loss anyways and was willing to reship so its not like you did it on purpose or tried to commit fraud. Sometimes things go your way sometimes they dont, its not my job to even them out.

i ordered some clothes from abercrombie from here in canada as there arent any stores here. they shipped me my goods, then a week later they shipped me $500 worth of womans clothing. guess they got the wrong address lol.

gave them to the gf. Was some skirts, military pants, t shirts, jeans, everything I just told her i bought them for her as a random gift hahaha.

She loved it.
