my first fall
today i was playing cat and mouse with a yamaha R1, i followed it for about 10 minutes, then he stopped and let me go infront.
this was on saleve, i was pushing it as far as i could, i know the mountain very well but there was dirt and rocks and sand from recent construction. and i came off and slid across the ground and rolled and stuff. im not really hurt bad, i got a ****ed up left knee, my bikes sliders too most of the preasure of the fall, i snapped my peg to change gears. so the guy on the R1 gave me a ride home.

im hit up my arms in a few hours.. it was totally surprising, like there really was no doubt ever while turning, just doing it how i do it everytime i go up fast.. i suspect the back wheel didnt like it when i pulled the throttle on the sandy area. but it was like a thrill and exciting. flying over my bike and slideing along the ground rolling.

I'm glad your ok, But i can see a thread by the end of the summer saying you got really hurt. Fos you dont know your limits or your own skill level. You crashed you car because you tried to hard now your bike.

but the tyres in this bike are quite fat. they are not skinny like cbr 125 and 250s or those yahmaha 250s. they are not as big as 600 tyres but twice as thick as those skinny ones

Dude first of all what kind of bike do you have? Second of all its the begininng of the season and EVERYONE knows that there is sand all over the roads from winter....You should know better than that and if you don't you probably shouldn't be riding. You should be glad you wore gear cause you would have been a hell of alot worse than what you are now.
Maybe this is a sign telling you that you need to take it easy for awhile and the fast riding crazy antics to a track.
If you want the name to a great forum I'm on regarding sportbikes, let me know and I'll shoot you a PM.
