    Which Are the Best...

...MP3 players to use in the gym? I sometimes find that some of them fall out of your pockets easily and they are just bulky and all that nonsense. I am looking at getting one. Nothing ridiculous just between 1-10 GB of memory that either is easy to clip onto something or will stay in the pocket somewhat easy. So Which ones do ya'll use?

i have to admit the new IPOD shuffle is a great deal. The Nano i had before i smashed while throwing up 120lb dumbells while pressing. It's so small and never gets in the way

I got a nano as well. Sometimes I hit it and it turns off on me, but I cant see that being any different with another MP3 player anyways, its really slim, light and holds shit load of music. Easy as hell to use as well, making playlists is really easy as well even when its not hooked up to your comp.

Ipod shuffle. It's so small you don't even know it's there. Last pretty long as far as recharges, hold a gig, and I think they are only like $80

Ya I do I do, but I always just slip it into my pocket right. So sometimes when I slide under the pads for lat pulldown it gets squished under the pressure and just turns off. Or sometimes when Im down my presses I put the dumbells back down on my legs and it hits it.

Ya i wanted one but everyone said the band wouldnt fit my arm. When you are rockin out with 7 inch biceps its hard to get a band that doesnt just slip off all the time. I dont know if they sell one for 5 year old girls that may fit me???

You can put youtube videos on an iPod. You just have to convert them to .mp4 first.

well as you know Im kinda dumb with apple products, I didnt know,

I dug around a bit on here and found someone gave the zune a really good review,

they said the ipod had bad sound quality but noticed you posted that is fine to you, a few others agreed,

I suppose you could get an ipod cheaper than the Zune, though?

MS just made their financial announcement and they've lost a ton of money on the Zune. People aren't buying it. I would go with a product I know will still be around 2-3 years from now. Get an iPod.

Install iTunes. Set iTunes to manage your music automatically. Plug in the shuffle and it will copy tracks to the iPod.

PM me of you need more instructions.

Yea the shuffle or a 2gb Ipod Nano looks to be my best bet. I want something durable and all that, the only time I am ever going to use it is in the gym and for my bass competitions. I'm going to buy a converter for it to go with my In Dash Head Unit so that way when I am competing locally the music won't skip when my bass hits lol...but yea thanks for the input guys...

i got a nano, and have the leather case that has that magnetic button on the front...its great..you can drop it and not worry... the only problem is my headphones...i want to get wireless ones..but their too big..

like if oyu get on the high seated row machine and you press your chest against the pad, you got to make sure you have enough slack on your headphoens or them bits will rip out your ears mid set. gay.

that was probably actually me that made the thread if thats what your are talking about.

for me personally, the sound quality on ipod was bad enough to return it even though i had my heart set on keeping it and fell in love with the scroll wheel

As i said in that thread, i have had ipod, creative and zune, and i like zune best because i think it is the best. However, zune is the biggest and bulkiest, so it does come at a price...if size and convenience are of importance, then i might consider ipod or other brands.

not to offend ipod people, but ipod is probably the worst mp3 player on the market right now.....Iriver, toshiba, sandisc, creative, zune, samsung all beat ipod quality imo....This is evident when you read professional reviews about mp3 players. every brand i named off gets great-excellent audio and video playback mentioned in professional reviews......audio and video playback is never mentioned in professional ipod reviews...hmmm?
