Mavsluva - I'm following suit!

Well, ladies and gents, my damage is done. After read Mav's post (which was very well written) I have decided to follow suit. No, I am not adopting a child (good luck bro, you'll make a he lava pop!), but I have reached a point in my life where I need to either shit or get off the pot. My life has been a struggle these last couple of years, coping with the loss of 3 of my grandparents, battling anorexia nervosa, and changing careers (well, from a public CPA to a corporate tax banking manager).

I am still seeking therapy, Rx’d meds for anxiety, and learning to battle this horrible disease. I know I've pissed or better yet, flustered many of you, but it's only because us accounts are so anal, that everything needs to be perfect, down to every rep, and every morsel.

I have found a "team" that is going to help me pursue my goal of competing. I have roughly 720 days to accomplish this feat, or I'm going to give up the lifelong dream and just lift and train for the halibut.

This "team" has requested that I keep them anonymous and god forbid, ask for a critique of their plan. I have a top notch trainer and a top notch dietician assisting me, so I will not need the help from anyone else. Therefore, I am going to refrain from posting on this board, or any other for a long time. Sure, I might pursue the boards and if something comes arise, I may toss in my .02ml, but it will be very very rare. PM me f you want my email addy to keep in touch as I have met many good guys (and some real dicks) on this board and would love to keep in touch.

SO, long story short, good-bye and good luck to all. If and when I do hit my goal and find a show I am going to do, I'll be sure to inform everyone and you had better believe, the biggest party you've ever seen will follow, all as a token of my appreciation.

ABSOLUTELY.....it's all water under the bridge....I see PB will hold a grudge and that does hurt, but it's his choice....sorry man.........good luck to all!!!

My adoption journey ended in a miscarriage so I pray that yours materializes a bit better than mine did. This experience has not and will not break my spirit and I'm going to be a better person because of it.

Just keep in mind that you're the one in charge so if you don't reach your physical goals, then the one to blame is the guy that you see in the mirror each day.

Relax dude.....I am very sorry to hear this and if you knew anything about past history Mav and I used to compete against each other, battle, etc. all the time. UNFORTUNATELY, I have been away in DRUG REHABILITATION for my own problem that should have killed me and have been away from the net, for some time. RIP Mav

Your ''team'' has ask you not to, but I just can't grasp that concept. It's like a baseball player or football player saying they don't want advice from anyone else or won't need any like you stated. Look at some of the greats in any sport and I guarantee you that even though they had one coach or mentor, they learned and obsorbed information from lots of people along there way to greatness. However, you must do what works best for you, and that is ultimately your choice. Best of luck

ok enough.....Ive gotten litterally 15 pms about mav........I told you guys I had no idea, as I have been in lockdown for awhile. Mav and I were extremely close. Closer than anyone here thinks no matter what they say, including you getnjacked.......we were friends outside of this bubble, and also enemies......it was a love hate and I wasnt informed cause I wasnt allowed or permitted to be in touch with the outside world. So if my uncle died (knock on wood) I wouldnt have known......


Mav - you were a good buddy - I hated your guts and would have taken a bullet for you at the same time....you have no idea how sorry I am, I slept for 10 minutes last night.......will a mod please lock this, no more needs to be said.
