Where to Move to?
Well...I am bored for lack of a better word with this place. Maysville Kentucky was only fun the first six months when it was new. Now it is just straight gay. I am moving, my options do not include going back to Michigan because I have nothing to really come back to except the same life I moved away from. Anyways, I have a few places in mind that are within 50-200 miles radius of here. In no order they are as follows:
Cincinnati, Ohio
Florence, Kentucky
Lexington, Kentucky
Louisville, Kentucky
I have been to Lexington, Louisville, and Florence each one time and never visited Cincinnati. Basically I am looking for a city that has a decent night life where you don't run into the same people on a constant basis. Less of a crime rate then Detroit. A Variety of stuff to do within the general area as far as interesting places to go. Urban - Suburban enviornment, I don't want to be in the hood but not in Mayberry either, somewhere in between. My old stompin' grounds used to be the Eastside of Detroit so I'm good on all that ghetto shit, not for me anymore. I put Florence in that same company of choices because it is 10 miles from Covington about 20 from Alexandria and about 25 from Newport Kentucky and Cincinnati. That way I wouldn't have to go far for a variety and I could always pick somewhere different. However Cincinnati and Louisville seem like the inner city as well as the suburbs would provide sufficient variety. Lexington is just Lexington, nothing really close besides Richmond that I know of. I am basically looking for any input from people who are familiar with these areas just to get some opinions.

i live just outside of lexington and i really like it here. i'm an okie and i moved to central kentucky in '98 and lived here for 2 1/2 years and moved back home for 6 years when my grandpa got cancer. i decided to move back to the lexington area (georgetown) this past summer because i really missed it. there is alot of nightlife in downtown lexington with alot of bars and live music to check out and the women are incredible. it's not oklahoma city but you can have a good time here. as far as cincinnati i only go there to catch reds games on occasion never been there or louisville to party. lexington would be a good choice imo because of jobs and location. i can be in downtown lexington in 10 minutes or be in louisville or cincinnati in an hour.

Cinci, Columbus and Cleveland all seem to have pretty nice ladies but those are the three major cities of the state so lol...I guess in every city you're bound to find some. Toledo is alright...I call it Mini - Detroit, don't know a whole lot of people there though. I have family and friends in Columbus and Cleveland and I live about 50 miles from Cinci right now...

**** Texas!
This place is like a foreign country with all the goddamn Mexicans running around, not a day goes by that you don't hear that BS language spoken.
My biggest problem is the illegals, i'm all for someone being legal and learning English because that is what people do that want to become Americans (like our ancestors), but these people wanna come here and change our way of living to their shitty 3rd world culture. The sad fact is that a good 85% or more are illegal.
I am gathering work experience here and then I am getting the **** out, I know they have spread across the country but this state is over run.
They talk about it on the radio every morning about the illegals and how the border is overrun. They walk around all cocky with the attitude of "You can't ***ort all of us"..I say BS..line em up!Last edited by Panzerfaust; 05-07-2007 at 03:44 PM.

its one thing for someone to better themselves and go to another country but they are coming here and we are having to learn spanish and change our school holidays to please them-- WTF-- I spent $9000. last year on medical(when did taxes) and they go to dr free--I have to buy my food and they get food stamps--AND THEY ARE ILLEGAL--but my taxes pay for them to come here eat free, live free, see the doctor free have babies and take all the jobs--them taking all the jobs they will work for almost nothing and it is bringing down the country
