8 yrs catching shoplifters saw 1st gun
wow
been catching shoplifters for 8 years--have well over 1200 apprehensions and got a teenage gang banger today that I realized had gun in his jeans. first time I had that happen--just glad I saw it
told him to sit his ass down and put hands behind head ---I told him his hand goes near the front of his pants I will bust your ass and take you down and pop every joint I can find ( many armlocks would have come) then I put cuffs on him and felt a little better
My job is cool --I make my own schedule, dress any way I want, and walk around---I see a Jerry Springer episode everyday at work with these idiots I deal with and get paid well for it. The police in the area I work always tease me about being on juice (of course now I have a perscription so I'm good) and I get to see some interesting people
but in the last 3 months I have had 1 person try for a knife,1 person walk toward me with a big knife hidden in his hands but I saw it in time and now a gun
people are getting crazy and these teens nowadays--wow

true bro
there are no family values left--kids having kids and wanting the govt to take care of them, not wanting to work and always in trouble to a point where they feel they have nothing to live for

good job brotha...glad to hear the situation was delt with accordingly with no problems..some young jackasses dont realize how much they have to lose.
ive seen a couple knifes being a bouncer, but only one gun ever..and it was actually a cop pulling it on me...after he threw me to the ground that is, then he put the barrel at the back of my neck..why you ask? cause he thought i was breaking into a house...the interesting part, is it was the house i lived in.

I'm pretty sure if someone steals from a store and they have a firearm you can cuff them.
Hell, if I saw a firearm on anyone doing something illegal I'd skin my smoke wagon (if I had one) immediately, before they could do the same to me.

God god memories
I worked as a "loss prevention agent" for a summer when I was in college... that was wild. The security agency I worked for would cycle us between stores every other day so thiefs didn't get used to our faces.
As security agents the laws here allowed us to detain a suspect of a crime until the cops showed up to arrest them.
It was fun as a student job, but man I would not do it anymore...

and i dont know what you think handcuffs are used for but they are actually made for the very reason of detaining and controlling a criminal, not to chain hookers to your bedpost ya twisted animal.

i worked in a ***artment store doing the very same ting while i was going to college.it is a fun job, but some times it gets out of hand. i got in a full fleged fist fight with a guy in the parking lot one day that stole an electric doorbell.
the things you see on the cameras are insane.i have see kids picking there nose and eating it, girls practialy changing their clothes out in the open, elderly people fall down escalators, a deer in the store, a bunch of thugs smash a jewelry case with a hammer and run, teh list goes on and on

whats up bros
wow this is getting to be a good one
script the law does allow for loss prevention to detain by force or handcuffs if necessary ***ending on the company you work for and the training involved. I am fully certified through the police in my area so I am allowed. It may ***end on the state you are in and it does ***end on the company you work for---
I do want to get one thing straight I am not a cop wanna be--I could have gone to police school but would have never passed the lie detector test about gear -also I have one criminal element to deal with and not have to go to a stolen cars window and wonder if some meth head is going to shot me. If I detain someone and they fight I can use what ever force is needed to get them in(thank God for 10 years of jiu jitsu cause I have had to use it many times and I have no weapon)--the thing is its a job and I dont try to fight anyone cause its not personal they did not steal from my house I only fight if no choice and if they fight they get many more charges
Red Ketchup-- its good seeing you again bro--been a long time
Perfect-thanks bro
Spy Wizard--well said
Doc-- so right about those stories
I have seen it all as well--I have had 2 girls change clothes on aisles, nose pickers, people peeing and 2 chicks go down an aisle so I started watching them and they started to make out--that was cool
Sometimes I wonder how long I will do this --espically at my age but it pays real well, make my own schedule (which is great go to work when I want)dress down and see some really interesting things
