    breast cancer?

My girl has found 3 lumps on her breast. 2 on 1 and 1 on the other. She got her implants a year and a half ago and had a mammogram then and everything was fine. I cant imagine that 3 tumors could grow in that short of time. And if they did its got to be aggressive and it scaring the hell at of me. We else could they be. I tried to some search and possible lymph nodes? Anyone gone through this? We are going to Dr's on Tuesday.

    Gixxer,

Don't jump to any conclusions. It's VERY normal for women to develop "lumps" and often times they will just go away. Usually they are nothing to worry about and a thorough exam will help put your mind at ease. The best thing to do is to go to the Doctor, but the odds are that everything will be fine. Let us know how everything turns out!

Oh, did I mention that I see these all of the time?? Seriously, I have done more breast exams than I could ever possibly recall and have NEVER done an augmentation without doing so. There are so many things that could be the cause, I would just take a few deep breaths and try and relax for her sake. She will feed off of your anxiety. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

We went to the Dr's yesterday. We will no more next week but it seems like the lumps are just some tissue. Possible something from when she got her implants. Doesn't really seem to be anything to worry about.

Unfortunately they did a full check up on her after and her EKG and an ultra sound of her heart came up bad. I'm not really sure whats wrong we need to see a cardiologist. Its amazing she is 30 eats very healthy has always been an athlete and has some heart problem.

If its not 1 thing its another. Thank you everyone for your support an PM's

gixxer...What did the Doc say? If those were the only two tests performed I wouldn't jump to any negative conclusions. The tests can show "abnormal" readings for many reasons; such as an infection causing inflammation, stress, another underlying issue, etc. Wait until they do a more thorough workup to include blood panels, stress test, etc, etc, etc...

In reference to the lumps- the tissue was more than likely scar tissue from the implants which tend to form masses that to the touch, can feel abnormal. I am glad to hear that my initial conclusion was correct. I would like to hear further on what the heart issues are determined to be and if they have planned a course of treatment. Keep me posted!

    Good luck

    Doc M
