AM or PM Training (poll)
I am two days back since my hand got all ****ed up by some chemicals or some shit at the gym. Anyways, that place is so ****ing packed I don't think I can take it anymore..I was doing rear delts reversed on the pec fly machine (whatever the ****er is called?) and I go to start my next set and POW..this ****er slams in to my left arm..looks at me and was like "Oh, sorry I wasn't paying attention"..not a huge problem but still.
Now to my question, who works out first thing in the morning as in weight training? I have thought about trying this, I have only done cardio first thing in the AM. I figure if I can get in there first thing in the morning 5:30-6am I can focus and have all the room I need.
So, what say you? AM or PM?***No source checks!!!***

I like the mornings because I have more energy. But I have more flexability and a better range of motion in the pm. So training in the pm I would have less chance of injury. Especially for heavy squats I need to be loose, easier on the low back.

Personally, I lift in the pm.. Cardio in the am.. I'm curious though,, do the ppl who lift in the am have a big breakfast right before they lift?? or wait till after? I would imagine one would need some subtance for a hard training session I know I would..

Night time for me. In the morning I have no strength. By the time I wake fully I'm half way through the workout.

I've always trained in the PM... Like half the other people said I'm not a morning person and I definately have very little energy upon waking up.

I like morning training as i can have a big carby breakfast then go train. Then pwo and ppwo for more carby starchy stuff. This allows me to taper off to pro fat meals as the day goes on which i find works great for keeping me lean while still allowing for growth.

6:30 am for me. Too many douchebags in the evenings. I dont have to wait on anything, and most people leave you alone in the morning...

I train both AM/PM ***ending on my work hours. Some days i train at 11:30 other days at 17:00.
Its hard to say when i have better workouts becasue i train with someone if it's PM. Energy levels are for me slightly higher in the morning and i seem to feel a little more focused. However in the PM i get a much better pump.
Stregnth is equal at either AM or PM.

i go either at 11am... or 8-9 pm.
i avoid the busy times. i would just go when the least amount of people are there. ask people working there when the least amount of people are there and go when ur schedule fits.

I am currently training both in the morning and when I get off work at night. I would say I prefer Mornings since I have more energy and strength then no doubt due to work. My workouts are intense but short. So A.M. gets my vote.

pm for me...hell i dont even get up untill 2 in the afternoon. lol but if i trained when i first got up, i would probably drop a dumbell on my toe punch a whole in the wall then go back to sleep. i need a good 4 hours to be anywhere near alert and conscious enough to mess around with heavy things.

I might give this a shot starting Monday. I won't have any problems tonight at the gym because I am doing legs. Any other body part and people are all over the shit.
I am feeling real good after being off for 3 weeks, I am lifting just as much as before and even pushing out that last rep..I hope I can keep this up.***No source checks!!!***

Well today was the first day of AM training.
It was bad ass to say the least. Woke up at 5am, threw a pro/carb down my throat and had a Diet Rockstar Energy drink and hit the gym at 6am sharp. Did chest and tri's.
I just seemed to have that little extra oomph in the lifts and I felt good the whole time. I know this is the first day but if this is a sign of things to come, I see no reason to ever train in the PM again.
Positives:
The gym was far from crowded and I could choose any excercise without all the BS waiting around etc..No morons just taking up space. And best of all, quite a few little hotties there in the AM.
Negatives:
Going to bed early. One thing I noticed was about 75% of the guys working out had decent to good upper bodies but the legs were ****ing pathetic. WTF? I will never understand that shit, how can they not see that shit?***No source checks!!!***
