    Sports Car/Fuel

Whats the fastest sports car, but with the best gas mileage?

For example, Dodge Viper. Fast, cool, catches ev1's eye, but only gets 12mpg

It can't be someone crazy expensive like 200 g's

or...would it be a better bet to get a pretty decent fuel car, and sup' it up?

If you can afford the fancy sports car then you can afford the gas

Yeah, I was looking at those. I think they only get like 15 for city though. Its not terrible terrible, but damn lol.

But I suppose thats true, if you can afford a car at that price, you can afford the gas...

Some of the most fuel efficient sports cars out there are american. Lambo's, Ferraries, Buggatti, all get terrible gas mileage. Most of the Ferraries have like 4 liter 8 cylinder engines that make 400 hp but get like 10 mpg on the highway. were as the GTO makes 400 hp and if you have a six speed it gets 25-26 highway with a bigger engine.

There aren't any, sorry. Maybe you should rock a 4-banger Mazda Miata

I had to get rid of my toy because I bought a new truck and then kept my VW Jetta for anytime I know I'm driving more than 30 miles without hauling anything. I feel like a jackass in that car compared to my truck but I gota save.

So I'm in the market to add a car, he could just get what I'm likely getting, a new Lotus Elise. They're bad ass, all race, 40k, and get great gas mileage. Either that or I'll get an M3. Weird that those are my choice cus they're animals of such different nature, but after driving that elise today I about nutted.... my god it was an amazing car, but then again it's like drivng a go kart on steroids, quite cramped, no creature comforts.... but thats sorta what makes me love it so much

I was actually looking into the Lotus'. Those supercharged 4 bangers haul, but its still only like 250 horses, which is fast for its size and weight. They look cool and get great gas mileage, but my only thing was the size. I havent seen in person, but they look like a little toy car lol, like one of those micro-machines.

Those are really 40k? I've never even looked at them because I assumed they were 100k+ for some reason. I can't afford one now but maybe someday!

Ya know, I think Im just gonna get a nice decked out G35 Coupe....look nice, good gas, good enough speed for now, and when the G37's come out, the 35's price will drop.
Then, in the future, get my Viper for shits and giggles.

Ya know, I hear in late 07/08, Ford is coming out with a new version of the Shelby GT, called the "Super Snake". Not sure what the price is, but its street legal, stocked with 600 horses, upgradable to 725 horses.

Exactly, man! Insurance is unreal! I had a c5 Corvette but between gas, needing a truck, and insurance I HAD to get rid of it. I really do miss that ride, though. Then again, I have a new Lincoln Mark LT that took it's place and I can't complain one bit.

I got it for just under 30k but it was pepped so it still wasn't considered "used". Nobody had ever owned the title before and it only had 3,000k miles on it. Also, the owner of the Lincoln dealership is friends with my dad so he hooked me up. I'll go take a pic from my garage. BRB.

The Mark LT's come loaded for the most part but I couldn't upgrade to chrome rims or navigation. Other than that it has every option imaginable.

It's not really a POS but it's a 2000 VW Jetta. It runs great and still looks very clean since I'm stupid about keepin my cars clean. I just hate driving it because it's so small and it's a 5-speed.

It's not that had to get good gas mil with teh right computer system. you can back down the injectors puls with and also shut down a few cylinders. the when you wont to make power they kick back in. The only reson with you dont see this that much is due to the priceing. They are also very hard to tune. But bmw and ben doing it for years.
