Bad pain near center of chest

Well today after my workout i noticed my inner chest area hurts though it's not muscle soreness... It's not the sternum I'm guessing my ribs??? It hurts to touch the area or take in a big breath.

I've had the similar feeling you're describing and even though I didn't think it was a muscle pain that's what the doc ended up coming to the conclusion of after numerous tests.

Yeah dude, check it out. It could be involving something with respiration. In my class we learned thats the area that hurts when the alveoli sacs start scratching the surface.

    are you talking about Pleurisy?

    Hey bro,
Did you have any trauma in the past few days or getting over the flu/cold/cough? If so then most likely it IS muscle pain since the pain increases with inspiration and is painful to touch. I wouldn't worry too much unless you're having shortness of breath but if this continues for more then another day or 2 then go get it checked out. Hope all is well.

I didn't bother getting it checked out as the pain has subsided luckily. I assume it's a form of muscle soreness but it definately doesn't feel like it.

I have random chest pains throughout the day. Sometimes i go weeks without them or some days it will happen twice or three times. well not chest pains, just like aches. Never thought to get it checked out cause it doesnt seem to serious, and it honestly doesnt even bother me. oh well it prob is a sign of SOMTHING wrong but, i honestly dont think itsa to serious. but thats what happens when u have no insurance
