Cool OMG just saw this vid on tv. Crocks, Lions & Buffalo.

I hope nobody saw this yet but I had to post it.

Its long but well worth the wait. By far the coolest animal fight I've ever seen. Some people may not like what happens to the calve at first but just keep watching..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uw7uA9QExc

And please, no spoilers for those of you who have already seen the end.

Damn, those Buffalo were rather larger. Unless those lions were just little. ha, that was crazy. I was hoping the croc wouldve got more involved, but it was still cool

Leave it up to the croc to try and mooch a free meal.

The lions, which were female, failed miserably.

I like how the buffalo came back with mad back-up. Protect your own.

Cape buffalo are known to kill Lions. Lions do not hunt them unless they are no other prey animals available.

I wish there was some death. I was hoping the buff woulda knocked a lion into the water and a croc woulda gone and grabbed it or something.

Yeh thats intense, I just read this on wilk:
"the African (or cape) Buffalo is widely regarded as a very dangerous animal, as it mauls and kills several people every year.[3] Buffalo are sometimes reported to kill more people in Africa than any other animal"

crazy stuff. I guess lions really are just big ***** cats.

Yeh I didnt even realize till I watched the video for like the 3rd time but its looks like its a mother and father buffalo walking with the baby away from the herd. And thats when the lions decide to pounce on the baby prey.

And I noticed some other shit too. Like why didnt the buffalo go after the lions after they went for the baby, than simple logic says they were outnumbered by female lions.

So they actually go back to the herd and come back rolling like a hundred deep, I really was shocked by how smart the buffalo were and how they worked together and broke up the pride of lions one by one.

You have to watch the DVD National Geographic Relentless Enemies. It's about an island full of Cape Buffalo and lions. The attacks are bad ass.

"Observe the habits of the hunter and the hunted in this National Geographic program that takes you to the center of a fight for survival between lions and Cape buffalo in Botswana's Okavango Delta. Trapped together on an island in a remote corner of the African continent, these two warring species have developed a unique method of coexisting in which the cats keep on attacking, and the buffalo have learned to fight back."

It's also out on Blu-ray and HD DVD.

Why buy a regular DVD if you can get it in HD. Besides, the more blu-ray discs sold the more money they have to increase my salary!
