    i have been meaning to buy that for the longest time, but my connection right now is so slow that my guy would be slow mo and i would get lit up eerytime. i think im getting dsl or cable so if i do, lets do it up style

    i used to play CS all day long

    now everytime i try to play it says'

    " cs executible is out of date"

    i cant figure it out

    anyone ever gotten this?

    i'd love to be able to play again, that game is the shit

    I used to play as well...It's a big hit here in Vancouver and I guess everywhere, but there are lan cafe's everywhere for you to indulge your gaming fantasies...

    Nonetheless, I got bored of it after playing for 2 years...

    More time to eat and lift!

    I am a big Operation Flashpoint fan. Anyone else like it? Also I can't wait for Unreal Tournament 2003 to come out. Will have to upgrade video cards as soon as the demo is released, maybe a Geforce 4 ti4600.

    Counterstrike is easily the most addictive purchase (Half-Life) that I have made in the past 3 years---I dont think that I have seen the sun on a weekend in 2 1/2 years, stuck in front of a monitor for endless hours. I play on the cinci-rr server all day! -IronCy-

    i HATE counter strike, america's army all the way! hooah!

    first off, i'm not a big fan of the half life engine. i'm a huge quake3 engine fan. i used to play Urban Terror (the quake3 mod that is a competitor to counter strike). Urban Terror is more fast paced...lots more action and much better graphics...better sound effects also.

    but if you are into tactics and good team based FPS, i would recommend America's Army. its made and owned by the government...the US Army actually. its totally free and its suppose to be the most realistic one out to date. it costed 6.5 million bucks to make and it uses the unreal engine. me and my friends have been playing it quite a bit recently. personally, i think it beats the crap outta counter strike. to be honest, i bought counter strike, played it for >one< night and never played it again. ugh, i swear, once you play america's army, you'll never go back to CS...and its free free free!!! =)

    Played it to much for about 1.5years... Went pro and had real cool sponsors for my clan... but then I get got sick of it and realized that I was wasting my time so I began going to the gym instead

    I used to play for hours!! Even fell asleep on the computer trying to play it all night. I had to delete it and send it to my friend in NJ to get back to normal lol. Its like crack... very addictive

    far and away my favorite game right now. its very team/objective based. tons of fun, great graphics, its free, the army pumps out updates every month or so (with new maps, etc). just a heads up though, its not a run and gun game, you gotta be very careful and cautious...move in groups, use tactics, etc...if your team doesn't have a plan and doesn't communicate well, you're gunna wiped out...=)

    Counter-Strike was nice during first 5 betas, 5.2 was good but now Im more interrested in Day of Defeat (www.dodmod.com) very nice
