This 17yr old kid has oral sex with a 15yr old kid and got 10 years in prison for it, also to be put on the sex offender list. He was homecoming king and was being recruited by vanderbilt to play football, whats worse is that if he would of just had sex with the girl he would of only got 1 year...I don't get this because they both are minors ?

I am a big supporter of laws against child molestors and rapists. that being said i think this and many rape/sexual assault cases are absolute bullsh^t. this seems to be a perfect example. first off it was consensual and they're only two years apart in age? what a fvckin sick joke. cases like the ones on the duke lacrosse team where the girl accuses the guy of rape even though shes the one putting herself in a room with only guys, getting drunk, and stripping are rediculous.

I feel for the guy and I agree that this is bullshit. Fact is it's the law and kids need to be careful what they do and who they let find out. That attorney general is dick though, maintaining that his sentence is valid. It makes me want to write to him and tell him what a moron he is.

The guy who created this law felt really bad and said that this wasn't its purpose. He went ahead and changed the law but this poor kid still falls under the original law since he was sentenced at that time. As far as i know they are trying to get it overturned but i don't see that happing because if they do it for him then they have to do it for others who have had laws changed after their conviction.

this is absurd! how can these people sleep at night knowing what they have done to this kid? i really think alot of somebody with the resources of mark cuban actually doing something about this despite what alot of people will think of him for doing so.

i read about this in the paper a few days ago. the law is meant to protect kids from sex offenders, he just got caught in a loophole that makes the law apply to him too. i feel bad for the guy
