    Personal Rant...

I hate my legs... I'm so self conscious about buying clothing because nothing fits... I work out my legs just as much as my upper body but they are still very thin, albeit strong, but thin... Naturally I have somewhat of knock knees and also very thin knees at that... Size comes on slowly for them, but very fast for my upper body... So much so that some people don't even think I workout my lower body, and it pisses me off hearing some comments from them, even tho they are just jokes... I try and try yet they still hardly grow... ugh, anyone else have certain body parts that don't respond as well as others? I'm gonna continue thru this inconvenience and I know in the end I'll even things out, but right now it's just hard cuz, they aren't responding like I want them too!

Damn man, my thighs grow better than anything else. I have to buy a bigger waist size than I need just so they fit my legs. BUT my calfs have been lagging since I was a teenager. Can't figure it out.

i feel your pain bro. my legs grow slow as well but mostly it's my calfs. i do heavy squats mostly for my legs and they are very defined but not quite as big as i would like. personaly i would rather have this leg problem than not having my upper body respond.

What do you do for your legs? You are doing your squats, right?
If I train smart and hit each muscle once a week to allow for recovery then I can bring up lagging areas. Inside pecs for example, I really have to focus and put my mind into the muscle used while doing the exercise. Each rep is important.

I went today with a good friend of mine who plays Lacrosse for Whittier College in LA and who's big into leg workouts and I kicked his ass (even tho he has big legs)... I do four sets of squats, going up in weight, 4th set being 315 lbs. I did lunges today cause he showed me the proper way, 4th set was just 100 lbs. on my back but it felt more of a cardio workout then muscle building... I would have done leg extensions but am getting over a sickness (at least that's the excuse I'm going with)... I did Hamstring Curls the 4th set being 140.. And then I do calf raises (4th set being 300) and seated high rep and on 4th set I did 90 lbs... I think I do pretty good for my age and weight (5'10" 175 lbs.) It just is hella hard putting mass on my legs!
