I was on the "Freedom Machine"--you know the machine that lets you do any fvking exercise you want: woodchop, flys, lunges, curls, triceps, etc. The ratio on the machine was 1:4 so 100 lbs was really 25 lbs. Thus, I doubled up the arms on the machine and hooked up two arms onto one tricep extionsion bar. I do one set and all is good. I raise the weight 10 lbs and my reality quickly changes. The arms gives way and quickly crashes into my skull. This is the most pain I have ever felt in my entire life. I cuss and scream like a sailor on m e t h. I run outside to blow off some steam and cool off. I come inside and realize I am bleeding like a school girl who has just got her cherry popped. To make a long story short, after 3 hours in the E.R. I end up with 6 staples in my head and tell the owner I no longer want to be a member of his gym that leases bush league equipment. This has not deterred me one bit from my dedication to the iron, I just need to rearrange my cards a little and explore my options. 200 lbs is 200 lbs. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I was on a fresh shot test-prop and deca that was just starting to kick in and I was entering "the zone". The "heads" on here know what I am talking about. Thus, I was more pissed off off about the wasted shot than 6 staples in my head. P E A C E !
