630lb man loses 423 pounds

David talks about himself: "I used to weigh 630 pounds. I have been overweight all my life. I was close to death. I was written off by everyone, even myself. All of a sudden I woke up it seemed from my dispair and I relized feeling sorry about my life wasn't going to solve my problems.

I decided to change my existance. I weigh 229 now, I lost 401 pounds but I have excess skin. I wear a Large shirt and I can fit in a 34 waist. WEIGHTLOSS IS DONE! When I first started loseing it was hard, I could only walk 500ft. I can now walk for days. I had problems doing everything, but I percevered over every obstacle.

People used to laugh in my face, take pictures, and other degrading stuff. Now its another story getting buff, and so on. All within 3 years of starting. Crazy part is that I'm only half done! I want to be around 230 solid cut up when done. I need surgery to remove excess skin, all my surgeries have been recorded for TV and will probally air next year.

I have had 2 surgeries so far. One on Dec 7th and one on Feb 28th. These two surgeries removed 22.5 pounds of skin. The average person has 7 to 8 pounds of skin. My upper body is almost done I just need one more surgery. My lower body needs a inner thigh lift as well.

I stay positive. I focus on whats important in my life. Whats more important than being Happy?

absolutely amazing stuff. I think it is really sad when someone makes all that effort to lose loads of fat and they are left with unsightly extra skin. Im really glad that the surgeries went well and now he looks great...

Was gonna say the same thing. I wonder if he was 230 before or after the skin was removed? Cuz he looks like a good 200lb'er in the last pic. Obviously ***ends on his height but looks like ya he is prolly 200lbs now. Damn amazing story. Too bad he let himself get that way in th first place but props for getin back to where he is happy.

These situation are great but I always have a bit of a problem congratulating them too much. Because indeed it was their own fault they got there in the first place. Where is my congratulations for being strong enough to never let myself get that way? Same idea as when people throw a smoker a damn party because they had the will power to quit. Well I had the will power to never start. I dunno maybe Im an asshole but its kinda how I look at it. I think its great people make 180's though.

Also in one of the photos, he's got old lady saggers, but in the other he's got just a big chest. Something's going on w/the pants too in one of the pictures. It's photoshopped and badly near the bottom of his ass and legs.

Since when is your face and body color being different some kind of impossibility? Um when you are that fat the only thing thats going to be tanning is your face and forearms.... You think he walked around outside with his shirt off?

If this is all real, then I tottally applaud the guy for that amazing effort. I understand that he never should have gotten there in the first place, but to have the desire to not give up once he was there is something amazing. i am not sure that I would have even tried after getting into such a mess to be honest.
