OMG, that warm feeling is exactly what i get. but i only ever get it when either i am up REALLY late at night OR like you, when i wake up to go to the toilet in the middle of the night.

just have a protein or meal replacement shake

    try milk.

although i try to steer clear of whole milk, i think it would be ok for this purpose.

at least try it. a meal replacement mixed in whole milk

how close do you eat to bed time........Because, i eat like a horse right before bed. for instance, my pre bedtime meal last consisted of a big ole chicken breast and about 6 eggs.

My problem isnt that I get hungry at night, its that I get a craving for sweets/fats REALLY bad right before I go to bed.

A lot of times I'll open up an ice cream container and have a few scoops.. than wallow in ***ression as my body begins to store every last bit on my stomach for the world to see.

i go through periods where i wake up in the middle of the night starving. i just make sure i have something ready to pop in the microwave to eat and then i go right back to sleep. almost everytime it's between midnight and 2 a.m. when it hits.

How dare you say i satisfy you in the night, you said it was our secret!!

If you feel that hungry then your body is trying to tell you something - its hungry!! Unless you are cutting for a comp i would go with it and have a snack.

What I do is just have a shake in the middle of the night. I just put about 25g protein (mainly casien, calcium casienates, egg protein etc) ad 15g flax and 5g BCAA's. Drink it half way through each night. Works great but you wake up with horrid breath.

Yeah….i try to eat as close to bed time as I can, I literally time it.…
