    House was broken into

My mom's house was broken into tonight at 2 am and the security people called me to go over there. No one was in the house, my mom was about 3 hours out of the city with a friend of hers. The security guy was over there at around 230 and I got there at 3, he was waiting in his car because he was too scared to go inside so I went in with him and no one was there, they broke 2 doors open, tore the alarms off the walls and took a bunch of jewlery. The guy said he called the police and they should be on their way soon. Time passes and still no police.....after about an hour and a half of waiting the security guy leaves and I'm waiting on my own for the police. More time goes by, the sun is starting to come up its like 530 and no police so I run up to the main street by her house to see if I can flag one down and right in the parking lot across the street is a police car. I go over to him and say my house was broken into can you please help me or call another car who can? He says "listen man you wont get a car tonight" I asked why? He says "some crazy guy hit a cop tonight and everyone is on the street looking for him, you wont get help tonight someone will come in the morning." I was pretty frustrated that I waited 3 hours for the police that didn't show then found one and he turned me away! It's Toronto cant there be just one car out there that could have come over to help within a 3 hour time span?!?! My mom got home from a town 3 hours away before a single police car showed. It's 630 and still no one is there and the break in was 4 1/2 hours ago. I'm tired goodnight AR.

    Same here.

We called one time because we thought someone was breaking into our house. It seemed by the time we hung the phone up we had armed cops pulling up in an unmarked car. I couldn't believe how fast they responded.

Cops showed up at 8 this morning, 6 hours after the break in. It was an inside job forsure who ever broke in knew no one was going to be home thankfully. The police thing pissed me off because I had to wait hours for them and once I found one they turned me away. It was a pain in the a$$ getting out of bed, searching through the house and sitting in my car hungry watching the sun come up all for a few broken doors and some stolen silver. And yea that security guy was in the wrong line of work
