It depends on what model and year, you mentioned a Road King before, right? You can get an ex cop RK here with low miles for about 11-12k I'm talkin a bike with2-5k miles maybe a year or two old. These bikes are well maintained.

Yup, and if you go to a county auction you could do better, maybe an older model for $7500 or so.

Couple years ago a buddy of mine bought a 97 cop RK for $6500 then bought a new one last year, he traded the old one in and they gave him $7500 for it. I did the negotiation for him.

Check e-bay too, sometimes they'll sell a bike for next to nothing as a total loss for insurance. And it doesn't take much to make them road worthy.
