    Yeh theres actually an annoying little science to POF and I never liked CL myself.
    But POF is all about 2 things, what your profile look like, and how to get traffic to your profile.

    Rather then message girls, take your time posting a few stupid comments in their forums.
    When women search in their area, your activity will bump you above the search displays, in the boxes where avys are thrown together like a bunch of special people.
    You'll find your profile views will explode.
    But if your profile still has 1 or 2 sour grapes in it you won't get any conversion to women sending messages. (its amazing the simple things people overlook sometimes)

    So you need someone (not a woman) who can review your profile and knows whats wrong with it.
    Either pm it to me, or post for a review only by guys and be real careful whos advice you take. But once you have those 2 down, POF really becomes a great site to meet women.
    Theres other little tricks that make a big difference too, like getting your "favorited" number up.
