Yeah I dont blame you the child services is very hard. I worked at a youth crisis center for 2 years, very depressing. These kids have been messed up so bad in the head. I used to monitor therapy sessions, my heart goes out to what some of these kids have been through. There are allot of avenues, I envy you allot that your getting a degree, I never finished my school, now I have so much debt it seems unrealistic to go back.

Yeah ive heard a lot of stories and talked to a lot of people whove worked in child services, i dont think i would be able to handle it.

It feels like forever until i get done school (2 years left) i took some time off but im trying to keep my enthousiasm up for it. It'll be worth it in the end hopefully.

I dont recall do you need a degree to be a probation officer? They start out here in vegas at 45k a year, not sure what that transfers to in canada. Also we had so many kids at our center that where from Canada. Chew on this we had 140 kids, we charged 7-10k a month because we medicate them. We where a private program, the owner is one rich man.

I'm not sure if you need a degree or not. 7-10k a month, wow, yeah thats some huge profits for someone. Thats suprising a lot of them are from Canada, i wonder why.

Because of your guys free health care. Canada is willing to pay allot, its hard here to convince a goverment program to pay 7-10k a month for a teenage kid to go to a treatment center
