i didnt pay my fines from speeding tickets so they suspended it, then i kept getting more fines and then i found out that after 3 years of not paying.... they just clear the slate and my suspension was lifted. then i got caught with drugs and they gave me another few years suspension for that. even though the drugs had nothing to do with a car (wasnt caught in a car or even near a car lol)

yeah, passed a schoolbus going the other way on a two lane highway...red lights are the bus were allegidly on.
Nope they were not, bus was still moving when I passed it.
And the cop also said I was following the car in front of me too close. So I was like "I guess he made it and I didn't, right?"
The stupid pig lied in his statement and said I called the bus driver all these names. That just makes me angry. Not to mention the cop was rude to me.
The only thing I said rude to him was I told him he was being a little tough on me with a 500 dollar ticket and if the lights were red it was pretty darn close. He said "do you not agree with my judgement," I said "honestly, no." He said "take me to court then." I said "oh I will, don't worry."

then that is a different story..... also I dont think its possible for a 58 dollar ticket to go up that high for not paying it. within a few months time. Are you sure they are not charging you for something else you didnt pay?

then maybe they make you take some classes and stuff

probably ends up costing you 3 grand by the time you're done plus loss of use of your vehicle and many hours wasted.

i didn't think that was possible either...but that was the only ticket i've gotten. i'm a good driver and never got a speeding ticket or been in an accident or anything. which i also thought was stupid because i had a perfect driving record and they did that shit because of a stupid seatbelt ticket...this was also around the time they were being all anal about seatbelts too. oh and this was in LA County too.

Crazy. Up here (it kinda depends on the cop, but generally) you just get a 24 hour license suspension and you have to call a friend to drive your car home. If you have previous driving mishaps then you could lose your license for 3 months.

yeah but it hasn't gone up which i don't understand...thats what it went up to like a month after i didn't pay it. i think they were trying to prove a point to somebody that had never gotten a ticket before...gotta fukk with somebody that has no record instead of somebody that has got caught doing shit. i should have tried to fight it but now its not possible because its a collections thing now.
