thats just cos you're not used to listening to that kind of vocals. I started into metal with iron maiden and the first time i heard vocals like that i said thats weird, they shout. Its just but you get used to them and at the end, what feels werido to me are teh clean vocals. But trust me if the vocals where "clean" the whose song will loose power, force, hate, occult, passion, darkness (which is the purpose of this kind of metal).
