The same wind may be warm to me and cold to you, the same person may be polite to me and rude to you. But what does it mean to say that the same statement may me true to me and faslse to you (other than that i may believe it to be true and you may believe it to be false?)

Protagoras' doctrine that 'man is the measure of all things' is expressed in the form 'whatever man thinks at any time is truth for him'. that is to say, whatever i believe is true for me and whatever you believe is true for you, there is no such thing as what is simply true apart from what is true for someone: nothing is true unless someone believes it, and even then it is only true for those who belive it. what does the expression 'true for x mean'? does it mean believed by x? if so then in saying 'whatever anyone believes is true for that person, relativists are merely saying 'whatever anyone believes is believed by that person, and no absolutist would bother to disagree with such an empty tautology as that. what are the relativists trying to say that the absoluteists disgaree with?

well morph, in my reality if there is one god, he can't do anything about the fact that there is 1 of him. If he makes a universe he made 1 universe. Therefore, numbers are bigger than god.
