    Job Decision...

There's so much to choose from in the Air Force and I have no idea what I want to do, and I need to make my decision by Friday! How did all you military members decide on your job? Was it something you wanted to do after your service? Something exciting? Or just some random one? I'm having difficulty because I have no idea what I want to do afterwards so I'm kind of at a loss...

Air Traffic Controller!!!! Seriously. These guys, once out of the military make over six figures. Here's a link...

    http://www.collegegrad.com/careers/trans02.shtml

    Earnings

Air traffic controllers earn relatively high pay and have good benefits. Median annual earnings of air traffic controllers in May 2004 were $102,030. The middle 50 percent earned between $78,170 and $126,260. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $57,720, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $139,210.

Oh, this is an important thing to consider on the air traffic control thing too:

"In the U.S., a majority of the air traffic control workforce will retire over the next 10 years. As a result, the Federal Aviation Administration is hiring more than 11,000 new controllers over the next decade."

You will have no problem getting a nice, high-paying job once you get out of the air force if you train as an air force controller.

That's true, I've always loved planes... Never flew in one, lol, but just fascinated by them. I was thinking of trying to get a job working on them as an enlisted or working around them, air traffic controller sounds pretty sick, ill look into it...
