    Microsoft Vista Question?

    I had to get a new laptop and have a question for anyone who is familiar with it. Can you install microsoft office 2003 for XP into Vista? I dont want to pay for it, especially since i have the disk for the 03' version. Does anyone see a problem with doing this? SHould i remove the Microsoft office trial that came with Vista before installing the old one?

    Yes, remove the old one and install 2003.

    You can even go into the registry and delete 2007. Thats overkill though.

    Start->Run->regedit

    HKEY Local Machine->Software->Microsoft->Office->

    11.0 = Office 2003
    12.0 - Office 2007
