    Sexist Gym

I go to the YMCA and It's the only gym I have around. The Y had always been a happening place; tons of people, great equipment, good instruction. The director and his trainers did gear, and knew everything imaginable about lifting weights and dieting.

Last year the director got fired and they hired a woman to fill his spot. She in turn hired an all woman board and other women trainers. So now there are absolutely no men that work there except for the janitor!

The weight room has gone to sht. The equipment is not being maintained and is starting to rust. They even rearranged everything and positioned numerous machines to where they actually hit eachother while lifting! Then to top it off, a member of 22 years got kicked out for a "sexist" comment. Supposely a woman heard him say something about a girl being hot and she turned him in because she was "offended". Immediately kicked out!

Anyone have any adivice how to turn this around?

To be real honest, sounds like you're kinda fvcked. I would try and get some guys to band together and find a new gym or try and take it up with the YMCA Board of Trustees.

Tell those bitches to get their panites out of a knot, then go back to the kitchen (where they belong) and scramble you some egg whites...

More than likely, the YMCA Board of Trustees found out the prior staff was on gear, so they made a decision to get rid of it. IMO, go join another gym, like the one the prior staff is working at now...
