    tell me about box springs

bought a new box spring yesterday. not cuz i wasn't sleapin well but because my last one was prolly 20 yrs old. and the new was was on sale for 90$.

new box spring = better sleep right?.....wrong!

slept on my new box spring and it suck'd azz. woke up a bunch fo times. neck is sore, feel old. it's basically like layin on concrete.

on my old one i would sleep 7-7 1/2 hours straight thru. wake up feelin good and loose. which is imprtant to me cuz i work out half hour after i get up.

    so my questions are,
    1. are there differences between NEW box springs? i would of guessed that box springs were universally similar.
    2. i plan on givin the new box spring one maybe two more nights before i put the old one back on, should i give it more time?
3 any one wanna buy a 1 time used box spring?

When it comes to a bed you can't cheap out. You get what you pay for and you didn't pay much.

yup, ditto above. I bought an $800 double pillowtop mattress and box set, and when it was delivered I found that the box spring isn't even a spring at all, it's framed out with wood inside. I thought maybe it was a mistake and they sent a display or something, but no mistake, that's how it's made. They told me if I didn't like the way I felt on it they would give a full refund, but it's the most comfortable bed I've ever been on.
