    unfair? unsportsman like? no no no! its fair, once the ball is snaped it is in play. other teams fault for not knowing this or for the coach to not scream that the play was in motion. it was genius.

The coach on the opposing should be the one holding his head. your squad should be prepared. Was Dan Marino unsportsmanlike when he fake spiked the ball into the ground and threw a TD to win the game? It was cheap but a TD none the less.
