Please help with sudden back pain!!!
I haven't been on these boards in about a year, but I knew this was the only place to go. I know this doesn't belong here, and I wouldn't post it here if it wasn't extremely urgent. I was squatting at the gym and all of a sudden a very bad pain in my upper back on the right side got to me...i tried to keep squatting and got 3 more reps until i felt it again and it was even worse and i barely got the bar back on the rack. after that it hurt to even breathe, sit down, or stand up...the only time it doesn't hurt is to lay down flat on my back...PLEASE HELP!!! What do I do???

Sounds like muscle injury.
Get a big ass bottle of ibuprofen. Take 800mg 2x a day not to exceed 2 weeks (cause you can get a stomach ulcer if you are on it too long). Don't do anything to agrivate it, you are going to be out of the gym for awhile. If it doesn't start to feel better within a week make an apointment. I have had similar problems with my low back due to rowing.
