What's Happening?

I don't know if this happens a lot but it is just very strange to me... So many people I know from High School or Middle School have kids now... They're only 18-19 years old! I mean, why would you want a kid at that age? You're not financially stable and many aren't even married, I think it's a terrible idea to have a kid in that situation. Now I know they aren't always planned and people make do with what they got, but jeeze, wrap it man... It's just kind of depressing to me cuz I've seen some old friends who were really smart and stuff and I can tell they aren't going to college and probably working at some dead end job long hours to support a family...

It happens a ton, I'm 21 and I see it with a large amount of the people I went to highschool with. I notice a lot of the girls just want to have a family, whether it be for personal reasons or security, either way I cant say i think its a good idea either.

I dont even know if i want kids, let alone having them now. Kids are best left to the time when you are actually financially stable, married or settled down. I'm none of those

I know people at both ends of the extreme, I'm 28 and about as mature as a 15 year old. If I had a baby I think it would die because I'd forget to feed it or something. I know tons of people who still live at home and mooch off mom and dad even though they may make 100k a year, and can barely take care of themselves. I'm somewhere in the middle, I own my own house and dog but I am too selfish for a baby.
