depression and steriod use

Basketball coach had us take "pills" each day - were in a big jar -- supposed to enhance our abilities - before this not aggresive and probably as happy with life as most teens. After a season of taking these "pills" became moody , no sense of worth, tried to hurt self. Question - do steriods cause these things? anyone else relate to this?

Impossible to say what you were taking, so hard to relate to. It obviously wasn't test, but on test I feel much better, more confident, etc.

Same here, depending on what it was it could haunt you down the road. I would make my parents aware if they are not.

Not sure a coach would be giving out roids like candy to the whole team. Has to be something from a nutrition store. I have heard of coaches giving steroids to select individuals they have a special bond with, but the whole team, that's just asking to get fired when someone spills the beans. Not to mention giving away that much product is expensive.
