    Halloween

Just got back from seeing Rob Zombie's adaption of the movie classic, Halloween and I gotta say....DANG!!! That's got to be the best horror movie ever made!!! Seriously...do you remember when they used to make horror movies that were really scary.....and when you left the theater you felt disturbed....that's how Halloween is. This is definitely one you must see in the theater!! It's not a true remake of the original....I read about how it's called a "reimagining" of the original. A lot of emphasis is placed on Michael Myers and how became the screwed-up deranged MOFO that he is.

I guess I'm a freak in that I love the slashers that push the envelope of gore... something that is Zombie's signature practically. I didn't think it was on par with Devil's Rejects at all but given that it was an adaptation of another movie, I think he did very well with it.

The best part is that you really don't feel bad for most of the people he kills. I mean, I was practically cheering when he beat that bully with the stick, his family sucked, the kids he killed were stuck up asstards (Yea, they make them out like that in every horror flick anyways).

I agree though... best horror movie I saw this year and had some awesome gore/special effects. The kids eye bleeding after getting smacked w/ the stick was awesome... the shit borderlines on actual stuff its so precise.

AHH you fvcking assholes!! I was suppose to see it Friday and plans fell threw than I was suppose to see it Monday night and same shit happened again. I'll wind up watching this shit solo but Halloween was and still is my favorite scary movies ever made.
I watch all of them religously every year around Halloween. And yeh they def DO NOT make scary movies like they use to back than. Now & days I do more lau***ng at scary movies than anything.
They'll either overdo it with gore at which point I laugh (Saw) or will just have some god awful plot that has no real story to it. (Scream)
Anytime I see a girl getting naked now in a scary movie I know someones about to die.. its fvcking ridiculous. Get something called ORIGINALITY all you shitty ass scary movie producers.

Can't wait to see this one.
