For those who care, the iPhone hits the UK November 9th.

• iPhone coming to the U.K. November 9th
• Will cost £269 and be available from Apple Retail stores and the Carphone Warehouse. 8GB model, EDGE not 3G (so the same model as the US). iTunes WiFi Music Store will of course come with the iPhone.
• O2 is the exclusive carrier
• Contracts cost £35, £45 or £55 a month and include unlimited (within fair-use) WiFi at The Cloud hotspots (7500 free Wi-Fi hotspots) and EDGE & GPRS on O2.

I stood in line to get mine on the first day they were released in the US... I absolutely love mine. The touch screen alone is a brand new experience in itself.

My fvucking nano died on me at the gym today... I'm sure it has sumptin' to do with this thread. You know how bad it svcks to work out to "your body is a wonderland" playing over the intercom when you're used to being in your own little world? Now I know what I'm going to be using my $100 store credit on.

I'm with Orange and they've just offered me 2400 anytime minutes, unlimited text and I can choose one number "Special Number" which I can have unlimited calls/text too per month. 18 month contract. Any phone free on Orange. Its the best upgrade Orange can give the operator told me.

All for £45!!

Buy one and unlock it. As long as Orange is GSM and has Edge you're good. I have the unlock software.

The menu system is slower. Apple released an update already to fix it. I don't have one but my coworker bought one and I checked it out. It's nice. The ipod screen as the look of a laptop with a gloss screen.

the new black model just looks absolutely slick as hell......the menu system looks really cool.....i just wish they would be up their with creative audio chip wise

iPhone exclusively on T-Mobile Germany starting November 9th just like in the UK. The 8GB model will go for €399 (including V.A.T and 2-year T-Mobile tariff) and will be sold through Telekom Shops of Deutsche Telekom and the T-Mobile web shop.

- tariff details will be announced just before November 9th

- every iPhone user will get free access to Deutsche Telekom's 8,000+ WiFi hotspots in Germany

- T-Mobile's EDGE coverage in Germany is near 100%

I'm not really surprised that iPhone's rates are so high. I like the phones they make, but that's about it. The rest of the technology I am not particularly impressed. When I chose my intercom systems, I had a choice between this brand and such a brand as bas-ip. Of course the first option was very overpriced although the characteristics were not very different. So think about what to choose a different kind of tariff.
