    Question about Pain

I have been lifting naturally for the last 4 months...lifting 5 times a week and have my diet in check .... I have gained about 14 lbs since I started lifting and am very happy with my current results...The last few times I have been in the weight room, I have been experiencing a deep pain (feels like bone pain not muscle) in my left arm...My pain resonates on both sides of my forearm and is almost unbearable at times...Does anyone know what could possibly be the cause for this? Is this all part of "growing pain" or could it be a more serious problem...thanks for the help.

Well I'm no doctor...............................so I suggest you go visit one, it could be caused by a number of things so be safe and get it checked out before you injure yourself more.

i believe it is caused from water retention... i think its the nerve rubbing against the nerve or something like that.. its caused mostly when doing like preacher curls, correct? there are quite a few threads about it, its a pretty common pain.. i have heard that taking high amounts of calcium and glucosamine can help but have never actually tried it... just run a search for forearm pain and it will come up

could be a number of things.. see a doc to be safe. until then, try to be easy on it. if its a deep tissue tear, you could make it worse be continuing to lift. try giving it a few days rest and see a doc.
