Anyone ever make a rack or squat cage out of wood.Im thinking of trying this for the basement.Maybe a squat cage and a calf raise.ANY IDEAS or links would be appreciated.

Bro, I'd stay away from wood!!!
If you can weld, go to a steel supply place and go to town.
If you can't weld, there is always 1in or 1.5in streaded steel pipe which you can asssemble like an erector set with fittings.

I would trust that a lot more than wood!
