Road to Perdition
Whos seen this movie? I saw it this past weekend and I think that it is Tom Hanks' best movie. If Hanks doesn't win the Oscar for this one something is wrong. I am usually very critical of movies and this was the first movie all year(and I've seen nearly everything) that I walked out and couldn't name one thing that I would have changed. If you haven't seen this movie.....go see it NOW.
What did you guys think about it?

Well then you must have forgotten about The Burbs.
The Burbs is the FUNNIEST Hanks movie.....but I think that the pre Forrest Gump Hanks movies are in a different class.

My local Tinsletown theatre didn't play "Road to Perdition"! Can you believe that shit! I asked the little geek at the ticket counter why, and he said something like they didn't carry certain movies made by certain companies do to ownership rights or something....I couldn't believe it being such a big movie and with Tom Hanks...the theatre is in a fairly large town, and it's a real Tinsletown, not a rip-off...anyone experienced something like this?

Speaking of movies not being in the theaters.....did you guys hear about that Eddie Murphy shitjob Pluto Nash. It was a $100MILLION film and it only made $6million in the first 2 weeks. I heard the studio pulled it from the theaters and like claimed the losses on insurance. Did anyone actually go see it?

Road to Perdition is the best movie I've seen of the year, by far. It was great and obviously oscar worthy.

Guys....I'm renting The Burbs tonight! It's been over 3 years since I've seen it, which should be a crime punishible by death.
