Godfather at crissing to knuckle head in the emergency room
Such an honor begins with a visit at the ER I'm such a schmuck so here we go.
Since Oct 15 I started my diet and training again and I can't bulk then cut at this point cause well,,,... I'm a fat fukin bastard so roughly 30 days in I went from 196 to 178 doing high fat high protein diet, carbs are only in the morning after 60 minutes empty stomach cardio walk at 2.5 to 3.5 1 cup of oats with 2 tbs of no sugar perserves and splenda,,, .this meal really helps with all the tuff cravings in the begining of any diet, the only other carbs I get for the rest of the day are 1 cup of grape juice after training. Now to keep it short I had about four or 5 yengulings I wasn't drunk I was just buzzing real nice you know, after the night was said and done I go home and I feel really shitty it all hit me at once stomach ache like I drank to much but 5 beers ain't shit to me but cause it's been so long since I had a couple beers combined with my diet, cardio and weight training I was bound to pray to the porcelin god.So I wake up an hour after I go to bed at this point it's 10 pm "keep and mind I have to be at work at midnight"to the most violent power play of vomiting persisting for three rounds of hell followed by two more sessions of the same after I had a little grape juice and some alka selzter. At this point it's 11:30 and I called out fuk it I get OT it's alright.
I drag my completly depleted of all energy body to the hospital while driving and just waiting to have to pull over to yak whatever other fluids could be left in my stomach,I had to get some fluids in me man and I couldn't keep nothing down so this visit was neccessary.I got there went thru the admission process and all was good after that,MAN THAT WAS SHITTY!!!!!!!!!!!
Let it be a lesson to the carefree or just ignorant your low carb and alcohol diet could possibly kill you
Just felt like sharing,oh yeah no hotty nurses DAMN!!!!!!

No hammer head I had a bad reaction to alcohol with no carbohydrates in my system or some bad food at the party.Throwing up violently non stop without the ability to keep fluids down usually indicates some kind of germ in your system and fluids are needed immediatly to replenish my body to fight the bacteria.I win
O yeah by the way any time I have thrown up from too much alcohol I feel like a million bucks and ready to drink or go to bed.So sorry to rough up your rip but your wrong.

I eat low carb and drink and I never have a problem with it.
But keep in mind, There isn't a NO carb diet. Even on Atkins induction phase you eat 20. However some people need ore and it says in the book that if you are feeling sick, you need to add a few more carbs. Atkins is the strictest one too.
It sounds like you drank on an empty stomach and got sick from it. Always drink after a meal, alcohol as a tendency to spike in unpredictable ways on an empty stomach. Plus without anything int here alcohol could irritate your stomach.
I bet if you keep your carbs more around 30 and spread them out a bit, and drink after a meal, you would be just fine.

i had a similar situation a few years back but it was from drinking a lot of hard liqour on a very strict diet. I'll never forget that day in my life but i still didnt go to the hospital (I HATE HOSPITALS!). never had a problem with beer though.

common sense thats all.if u deprive ur body of carbs and all at once take in a high carb food item it is usually instant HOLY SHIT.Dont have to no much about diet to understand that
a freind of mine was on the atkins diet and after his lowest carb point broke down and ate a fist full of cheesits and woke up with a bloody head and severe headache : /Last edited by pumpd4lif; 11-16-2007 at 04:03 PM.
