impossible puzzle

it is impossible. When they show you, they start with 2 cups down and one up. You start with 2 up and one down. You can easily get all 3 cups to point down.

I think the point MotoX s making is, you start with a mirror image to what the example has shown you. This results with all 3 cups in reverse to how it is suggested you should end up and that it is not possible to end up with all 3 cups facing upwards, kinda defeating the whole point of the puzzle really.

Its impossible simply because you start with one cup in a different direction watch the tutorial his cup starts 1 down 2 up... if you start 1 up 2 down...if you have to move 2 cups every time its an impossibility that you will ever end up with all facing up...

See I don't actually think that the challenge is to get all 3 cups upright.
If you look again it doesn't say get all 3 standing upright. I think its just a suggestive thing that makes you believe that you can get all 3 upright.
I think the puzzle is based on how quick you realise that you cannot get all 3 facing up.
For me i realised as soon as i watched the example the second time round.
