the movie shrooms, what a load of human excrement

ok, its been a while, but i feel like a rant:

Last nite myself and my girlfriend went to see the movie SHROOMS.

After around the 3 minute mark, i had already began to boil up in my seat.

In typical 'modern horror' fashion, just like every horror film that has been released in the last 5 years, this shit was set in a large forest, and started with a group of american kids in a van talking about sex and drugs, driving through the forest, then they hit something and blood sprays up the windshield. They get out and creep up on the 'dead' creature, only for it to jump out at them and get killed. Cue the interbred hillbillies! Yes, they live in the woods, cant talk that well, slobber alot and more than likely fvck each other, plus they probably want to kill you.

Must be the same beginning script for texas chainsaw massacre, hills have eyes etc. It doesnt get any more original either. The lead character, and apparent hero and lone survivor, is a female, and the last person to die from their group is her love interest.

To top it all off, they have to take a crack at steroids in the movie aswell.

They had one character, a complete tool, who just happened to be the member of the group that everyone thought was a dick. It just turned out that he was only a dick because of steroids, and they had fvcked him up. Some lines included "These shrooms wont damage you as much as the stupid steroids have messed you up", "your such a dick when you are taking those stupid steroids, I hate the mood swings, the sexual perversion, the pimply ass, and how you act" (lol not word for word, but pretty much). He takes his jacket off at one stage, and isnt even built. Looks like a regular guy who might play basketball or something.

And ofcourse, whilst everyone is dying and getting killed, one female character says "oh i wish i had never taken them shrooms!" theres your go-home message kids, mushrooms will make you all kill each other.

I was so close to walking out of the film, but thought better of it, just to avoid making a scene and disturbing our evening. Plus, my girl is on the blob, and I knew she would have made a bigger deal out of it than was necessary.

Overall, an uninspired, unoriginal, uneducated, ignorant, lazy movie. DO NOT go and see it, unless your relatives are starring in the film or something, show your support, by all means.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose, only because i knew it was based on factual evidence and was bricking it while watching (love good horrors). Was going to go to watch this film but not anymore since ive heard that its a pile of dog wank, cheers Timm.

the hills have eyes, devils rejects..all that crap, ive never seen any of of that shit, its all just a joke. no story, just props and shock value. thats not a movie, thats a waste of time and money. i saw hostel..what a piece of shit. oh my god what a piece of shit. the graphic violence was so, so terribley done. cheese wiz oozing out of random orifices..give me a ****in break. i wish thier was some kind of guild or organization that had to read and approve scripts before they were made into movies, there is way too much crap out here.
