How much overtime did you guy's get this year?

It's almost the end of the year and I didn't get as much as I wanted but I took it when it was available.I have right now 266 hours $6,384.00 so I'll be well over $40,000.00 for the year and I made $1,529.00 at my moving company job I was at for about 7 weeks P/T and then they got slow and said they'll call me in the spring which is cool, and there's still some OT available before the new year.Lucky for me I work with a bunch of bums who don't want much out of life.Fuk em I'll take it all.

Suck it up is rite man.I was pretty lucky to get this P/T moving gig for $11.75 hr and I just work in the warehouse after My primary job for 5 hours and they give me a half hour lunch. So from spring to October I start work at my primary job at 12 midnight to 8:25 am and I go rite to the moving gig at 9:am -2am.

I'm Salary as well. No overtime. I only used sick and personal days all year and didn't take any vacation time so I'm taking it now. I have mid December -mid January off. 4 weeks straight off all paid.

I don't get overtime but they give us comp time. I've had at least a week off to make up for times I've stayed late.

I work in IT also and am salaried. I do get 12-15% bonuses every year and a 5% profit sharing into my retirement plan. All in all, it's a sweet gig. Plus I make about 20k on side jobs.

They cut our security bonus this year by $2,000 a month so we are down to $80k a year. We get 3 weeks holiday every 15 weeks with flights paid for. Free food and accomodation ..... so I suppose it is not too bad

100% medical, your a lucky man WEBB,in the states that's very rare.My father, uncle and cousin all work for Sunoco and are pretty much set for life. But they all tell me the same thing,we can't get you in you gotta take the test's just like everyone else, which I feel is a bunch of shit to be honest. When you get selected to take the test your testing in some hotel with what was 1,500 plus people last time and they accepted less then 20 people. My cousin work's for them as a chemical engineer, they give him a company car allowance so as soon as he got that what does he do he went out and bought a brand new CTS cadillac with it.

Colorado huh?I hear that's a very fun place to live.My buddy went out there to live a couple years ago and every time he comes to visit he can't stop talking about how it's like no other place in the states.Everybody party's no shit.If I had the balls and no child support to be responsible for I'd be there with you.The way things are going with my bills and the ability to find a cheap place to rent that wouldn't be a bad idea.

I am in areospace and I used to work lots of OT to the tune of ~$100k but I changed positions and got my base up most of the way to that number and I've done no OT in 2-3 years... it's a pay cut but I work barely 40hrs a week and I'm retiring in maybe 3 months at 31 years old sure beats working 80-113 hour weeks like I used to.

When I retire I;m moving to CO and buying a house and property and settling down to be a stay-at-home dad (we're planning kids now). I am considering maybe working on a startup company or maybe a 2nd career in CO but definitely one I choose to work in rather than working where the money is.
