Got a new truck a year ago, and have 30,000 miles on it already. does anyone know how to turn off the odometer in a 2006 ford f-150?

most likely a fuse. Its not a good idea though. You can ruin your title if you get caught!

Exactly, it will attatched to the title and you wont be able to get a bucket of piss for it...

...which is what I hope happens if you do it.

having odometer fraud on your title will kill your resale way more than the miles.

I still am a hardcore dodge fan. I agree though the mark up on cars is smaller and the competition is more. Dealerships are making more and more off of selling parts and doing labor, and less and less from selling cars

its not about the resale. I use it for work. I was just wondering if you could plug and unplug it. My warranty is 3 years 36,000. just wanted to try to keep the warranty for the three years. This is my fourth car. I donate all my cars to my highschool for the mechanics class and the write off. My cars I use for work are so worn down by the time i'm done with them they have no trade value anyway. Not really trying to get over on any1 but ford and it isn't like they didn't **** me when they sold me the truck.

Mine was a 2001', what was yours? It chewed up my tires and rode like a damn hay wagon. I had to replace all 4 tires within a year I think it was and told them they should have to buy the tires since the defect is what caused it, guess what, I got fuked on the tires but they fixed their problem they put in all new ball joints, whooop teee
