Angry Music Downloads WTF am I doing wrong

Carlos e-mailed some awesome trance links, I download them to my desktop, then I drag them to my itunes library, once in itunes I go back to the desktop and send it to my recycle bin, then when I try and play it, it tells me file cannot be found. When I recover it from my recycle bin and put it back on desktop it works, WTF I am going to have like 30 music files on my desktop. Why can't I send it to my itunes then remove the file from desktop.

you dont have to keep them on your desktop but you cant delete them. Put them in a folder somewhere like your dowloads folder.

    Change your iTunes preference settings.

Open iTunes and go to Preferences, click on the advanced tab. Turn on the 2 following options:

    Keep iTunes Music folder organized
Copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library.

After you change the settings re-add your music back into iTunes. iTunes will make a copy of the file and organize it for you in /my documents/music/itunes/ (something like that, I don't have a PC.)

After you add the tracks back in, put the original files in the trash then test iTunes to make sure the tracks work. If they play, you can empty your trash.

    No problem.

The DJ schedule changed so I missed a few sets. I'm going to send out music to the list later this week. I added more DJs.

That list kicks total ass, it has to be 30 plus hours of the best club music out there.

Once again Carlos thank you very much.
