Cage and the crew are up to more of the same, but this one has a decisive Mission Impossible meets Indiana Jones feel to it. The very accomplished Ed Harris provides a worthy antagonist, and if you enjoyed the first you'll like this ride as well, but if not don't expect to be impressed.

In the second movie of my double feature John C. Reilly, who by the way has compiled quite a diverse resume revisits stupid humor. For those who familiar with his portrayal of Cal Naughton Jr. in Talladega Nights (same makers), this is like that but with rock & roll instead of race cars, and w/o Will Ferrell. But hey, that doesn't stop this from being a laugh-out-loud film from start to finish. Caveats here include the obvious silly humor, so if it’s not for you do the right thing, as well as few gratuitously crass scenes that simply should have been edited.

I enjoyed I am Legend, but it also depends on your taste in movies and what you are looking for. CGI could have been better, story was too short but over all I did enjoy the movie.

Precisely!
Adventure movies generally require a certain level of commitment by the viewer. Characters, clues, travels, etc. tend to be foundational requiring a measure of memorization or attention to detail, whereas often a movie-goer just wants to be entertained. Elements like personality, mood and sense of humor should all be taken into consideration prior to selecting a movie; else it could be laborious two hours.

Since I'm a Cage fan, this one was fine with me, but that's why I suggested assessing your opinion of the first movie before seeing this one!

Make no mistake, there's nothing wrong with expecting excellence, oh and I agree "No Country For Old Men" was TRULY a movie for guys who like movies.
